Maid who crashed boss’ car alleges rape

PETALING JAYA: When a 19-year-old Indonesian maid crashed her employer’s car into several vehicles in Jalan Klang Lama last Thursday, police initially thought it was a case of car theft or reckless driving.
The case took a serious turn when she alleged during questioning at the district police headquarters that she was escaping from her employer who had raped and sodomised her at a hotel.
The police were in for another surprise when she said her employer was a police lance corporal attached to the Puchong station.
After the maid lodged a police report, she was taken to the University Malaya Medical Centre where doctors confirmed her claims.
A source told The Star that the maid arrived here about two months ago and that she was brought in by an agency operated by the lance corporal’s brother.
She was placed with a family but because of her inexperience, her employers terminated her contract and she was sent back to the agency.
The source said the lance corporal’s brother then sent her to the policeman’s house, where she worked for about three weeks.
The lance corporal was supposed to return the maid to the agency on Thursday morning but instead took her to a hotel in Jalan Klang Lama where he had booked a room.
He apparently sexually assaulted her and then fell asleep.
That was when she grabbed his car keys and fled.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Muhamad Fuad Talib confirmed that a 45-year-old policeman has been arrested.
The suspect, a father of two, voluntarily turned up at the district police station for questioning on Thursday.
He has been remanded for a week.

Bukan semua polis begitu. Tidak adil membuat kesimpulan tanpa penyelidikan yang betul.
Polis yang dalam berita itu bukan mengaji pembantu rumah tersebut tetapi dipinjamkan oleh saudara dia.
Aku adalah anak polis dan ramai juga kenalan yang kerja polis.
Tetapi memang susah nak jadi polis yang baik. Ada pelbagai ugutan.
Perlu juga kesian kepada mereka yang tidak ada kelulusan.
Mereka kalau rajin boleh berjaya. Aku ada bertemu dengan seorang konstabel semasa mengerjakan haji tiga tahun yang lalu. Beliau berjaya bukan kerana rasuah tetapi rajin dan isteri pun bekerja.
So please don't make conclusion yang tidak adil.

babe-kL, she did work, didn't she? Even for 3 weeks! She was supposed to be returned to the maid agency, I don't really know why... She didn't perform or that lance corporal can't employ her law-fully!
Jang, my blatant view of corruption of polimen are proven through my own experience in dealing with them. What matters to them all the times, 'mahu settle macam mana?'!

Ugutan itu lebih menjelaskan lagi kenapa polis korup. PDRM perlu dibersihkan dari anasir tidak baik, seperti pengugut-pengugut sedemikian.
Seorang yang benar benar beriman tidak akan bekerja sebagai polis dalam suasana sekarang.
Saya pun kenal ramai polis pencen, yang kebanyakan ditemui semasa ceramah agama. Mereka tak kenal halal-haram semasa bertugas, dah pencen sekarang nak bertaubat!
Semasa menemani kawan membuat report kemalangan kereta di Balai Polis Jalan Bandar, saya solat disurau mereka, dan ada polis yang solat juga. Kasihan mereka, warak, berilmu (alim), tapi tidak sedar mewajiban meninggalkan profession yang tidak membenarkan mereka bertindak secara Muslim sejati, buat masa ini.
Jawaban utama kepada kemelut ini adalah pembersihan PDRM dan ini hanya akan terjadi apabila kerajaan yang mesra-rakyat memerintah atau sekurang-kurangnya kuasa check&balance timbul diparliament yang tidak dikuasai oleh hanya satu parti yang tidak takutkan tuhan!
