Dr M leads Porsche convoy

WE'RE OFF: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad waving to press photographers before driving off at the head of a convoy of 70 Porsche cars from his residence at Mines Seri Kembangan to Port Dickson yesterday.

Smartly dressed and looking distinguished as usual in a bush jacket and a beret, the former prime minister drove his maroon Porsche Cayenne and had his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali as passenger.

Dr Mahathir, who is patron of the Porsche Club of Malaysia, was travelling with 150 club members to Port Dickson for the club's annual dinner at the Avillion Resort.

Today, the club members will be at the Sepang circuit for a track day.
