I don't really what was the real description of my feeling reading this plea Mum: No jail, please.

What drove her to steal in the first place?

Mum: No jail, please

KUALA LUMPUR: A mother cried as she pleaded with the court not to send her to jail.

“I don't want to go to jail as I need to breastfeed my baby,” Norizan Bidin, 37, said.

Norizan had earlier pleaded guilty to stealing baby clothes, shoes and a bag amounting to RM436.40 from the Jaya Jusco Supermarket at the MidValley Megamall on Aug 27 at 9.50pm.

Magistrate Mohd Khairi Haron, however, set bail at RM1,200 and fixed Nov 17 for sentencing.
